Letterboxing on the Greenway

We found two letter boxes on the Greenway. The area is so beautiful , you can walk or bike for miles.This letterbox is called "Feeling Tropical" and the area sure felt that way. This is the first letterbox we found on the Greenway. It is called "Tennesse Inventions" I had to solve a two letter type of crossword puzzle. I felt very proud of myself because I solved it without Chris (my smarter half). We are only showing you a picture of the pouch the stamp is stored in not the stamp itself. If you want to see the stamps you have to come visit me to see my logbook. To date I have found 15 traditional letterboxes and 3 virtual boxes. I now have a ribbon next to my name on Atlas Quest. Carson and I are known as Heart Flower and C Tiger.

Seventeen Years Together

We spent our anniversary at church this morning thanking our Heavenly Father for 17 years together .

Our sweet blessings from the Lord for our 17 years. Laura Joan wanted to bring the doll that matched her pretty white dress this morning so Carson helped her put the doll on the little seat between them. I was so happy I had my camera with me for our special day.

Boating at The Lake

We've gotten the boat moved to Tellico Lake and as you can see we are already enjoying it. Chris and I thought the water was a little chilly to go in. But Aunt Leslie and the kids loved it.

Carson's Graduation

Carson has successfully completed Kindergarten and we are so proud of him. He not only got his Kindergarten Diploma he also received a Certificate of Achievement Award for exemplifying the character trait of Decisiveness.

Our Litttle Puggle and Sparky

Our little Puggle is so full of joy. She loves learning about God and all the wonderful things He made. The big girl in the picture is one of my Sparkies and she must have been helping out with the Puggles that night.


Carson and Laura Joan with Mr. Sparky from our Wednesday night Awana's program. Carson memorized a lot of bible verses and completed the Sparky workbook, which earned him a very large ribbon and a lot of Awana's bucks. He used his Awana dollars (at the Awana's store) to buy something for Mommy and Laura Joan in addition to himself. This was extremely sweet and generous as the Awana's bucks require a great deal of work to earn. We are so proud of him.

Carson in Awana's the contest was to see who could wear the most shirts. Carson came in 2nd Place. He considered this serious competition as you can see from his expression.


Carson and Laura Joan can be very sweet together sometimes and here is the proof.

Our beautiful little girl is so happy and joyful. She sings, claps her hands for herself and us. This is her with her Puggle's group at church. She is busy all the time and is definitely going to keep Chris and I young.

Christmas Events of 2007

Chris turns 49!

Laura Joan is the smallest child in this picture. We are blessed to have two other Asian children in her little class. Mrs. Jessica was Laura Joan's teacher. She is truly a gift from our Lord Jesus.


Carson won this Christmas cake in a cake walk game. He is such a lucky boy, he has one two or maybe even three cake walks.

We are truly blessed to be in our new house enjoying Christmas together. Chris's family got to come over Christmas Eve for dinner. I unfortunately didn't take pictures like I should have but we had a very good time.

We had a wonderful Christmas with my Mom and Step-dad visiting from Texas. We all adore Granny and Papaw.

Christmas night around 3:00 A.M. Carson decided to come downstairs to Mom and Dad's room. Unbeknown to Carson my Mom and I had moved our chest from the foot of the bed to the bedroom window. Carson ran into the room, jumped up on the missing chest and slammed his chin into the foot-board. 6 stitches later this is how it looked. Needless to say it was quite a traumatic Christmas night and one we will never forget.
