She was born on June 16, 2005. She was found at Chaihudong of Hu County on June 25, 2005. The Lijiazhuang Police of Hu County brought her to the Child Welfare Institution of Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province the next day. She was suffering from neonatal pneumonia. She was moved to a foster home called Chinese Starfish run by an amazing women "Amanda deLange" on September 13, 2005 where she currently lives, until Mommy and Daddy get the very long awaited for travel annoucement (TA) from China. "Please Hurry Lord Jesus, Hurry!" Laura was named after Amanda's friend who helped her start her foster home. Laura was one of Amanda's first 6 children all of whom were special needs children very close to death. "Thank You Lord Jesus, Thank you"
